Crafting Inscriptions? - Guild Wars Forums

I was told in-game that inscriptions could be crafted in Factions somewhere for about 5k plus materials. Is this true? I have searched the web with Google and the GWW and found NOTHING about creating inscriptions. If they can be crafted, how far into Factions must I go before I can do this? I despise Factions for the immense amount of grinding, and stopped playing after a few missions on the mainland.

Inscriptions can't be crafted or purchased anywhere except from other players. Factions doesn't even offer weapons that can use Inscriptions outside of Deep/Urgoz reward chests or FoW/UW reward chests. 5k+materials is the cost to craft a weapon, not an Inscription. Either the person told you a lie to make you look silly, or they didn't understand what you were asking.

Inscriptions are only avalable as random drops in nightfall and GWEN,The person was talking out of their ass,heres a link that tells you everything you need to know about inscriptions. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Inscription

Yeah I saw that, and after searching had assumed something was up. Thanks for the info, but I had to be sure because even after years of playing, I sure as heck don't know everything!
